The Aboriginal Tobacco Control Project team joined Babana Aboriginal Men’s Group on Goat Island on Wednesday 11 June to mark World No Tobacco Day and also to celebrate Men’s Health Week.
The project team delivered a workshop on tobacco and led discussions on how smoking had affected group members and their families. Everyone was given the chance to check their carbon monoxide levels and smokers were given NRT samples to help them on their journey to becoming smoke free.
The team would like to congratulate the group members who have recently quit smoking…keep up the good work!!
